EMPHASIS: Seven Arrested after Search Warrants Conducted





Captain Ronald K. Replogle, Division Director of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC), announces as a result of a joint narcotics investigation, the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, North Missouri Drug Task Force, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Adair County Sheriff’s Department, Scotland County Sheriff’s Department, Lancaster Police Department, the Schuyler County Juvenile Office, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, executed four search warrants in Schuyler County on Wednesday, March 16, 2005. During those searches, seven subjects were arrested for various drug related violations. The subjects arrested as a result of this investigation are as follows:



Norman E. Minor, 36, Lancaster, Missouri, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, and Possession of Methamphetamine.



James A. Boggs, 45, Lancaster, Missouri, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, and Possession or Methamphetamine.



Ronald Glaspie, 29, Downing, Missouri, was arrested for Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Prescription Medication, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute.



Crystal Kelly, 21, Downing, Missouri, was arrested for Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Prescription Medication, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute.



Jeremiah Newland, 22, Downing, Missouri, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Pseudoephedrine.



Deborah J. McClaskey, 25, Downing, Missouri, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Pseudoephedrine.



Marilyn B. Schupbach, 44, Downing, Missouri, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute.



An eighth subject was arrested during the investigation. A Lancaster Police Officer stopped a suspicious vehicle after the searches were conducted at the Senior Housing Complex in Lancaster. The driver of that vehicle fled the scene on foot while he was being detained. A manhunt was initiated and the driver of the vehicle was later arrested with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the North Missouri Drug Task Force K-9 Unit, and the Adair County Sheriff’s Department. A working Clandestine Methamphetamine Drug Lab was discovered inside the vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was identified as Marty Collis, 35, Lancaster, Missouri. Collis was arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.



The above arrests are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
