Troop H Announces Results Of Hazardous Moving Operation
Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer of Troop H, St. Joseph, announces the results of a hazardous moving operation conducted in Buchanan, Dekalb, Caldwell, and Livingston counties.
The operation was held from 1-3 p.m. on August 4, 2019. During this enforcement operation, five officers patrolled the counties mentioned above with a goal of detecting traffic violations that contribute to traffic crashes. As a result, there were four misdemeanor drug arrests, 33 traffic citations issued, and 25 warnings given.
“Aggressive driving poses a significant threat to motorists on Missouri’s roadways,” stated Captain McDonald. “It is important that all motorists obey all traffic laws and be courteous, safe drivers.”
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
“Don’t Violate The Trust.”
