Corporal Nicholas Borgmeyer Promoted
Captain Corey J. Schoeneberg, commanding officer of Troop F, announces the following promotion effective July 1, 2021.
Corporal Nicholas Borgmeyer was promoted to sergeant and designated the zone supervisor of Zone 19, which patrols the rivers, streams, and various waterways in Troop F.
Borgmeyer joined the Patrol as a civilian fingerprint technician on June 27, 2004. On March 23, 2008, he transferred to become a criminal intelligence analyst. On February 1, 2010, Borgmeyer was appointed to the 91st Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Zone 7, Cooper and Howard counties. On April 1, 2012, Borgmeyer transferred to Zone 2, which serves Cole and Callaway counties. On January 1, 2015, Borgmeyer joined Zone 17 as a marine operations trooper, patrolling the various waterways in Troop F. On December 1, 2016, Borgmeyer was promoted to the rank of corporal and remained in Zone 17. On April 1, 2017, Borgmeyer was designated the supervisor of the newly created Zone 19, which patrol’s the rivers in Troop F. On July 1, 2021, Borgmeyer was promoted to sergeant and remains in Zone 19.
Sergeant Borgmeyer grew up in Taos, MO. In 2003, he graduated from Blair Oaks High School in Wardsville, MO. In 2011, Borgmeyer graduated with a degree in criminal justice from the Community College of the Air Force. He currently serves in the Missouri Air National Guard as a senior master sergeant in the security forces. Sergeant Borgmeyer is married to Deidra (Carrender) and they have one daughter, Liliana.
