EMPHASIS:
Two New Troopers Assigned To Troop I
Captain Eddie A. Blaylock, commanding officer of Troop I, Rolla, is pleased to announce the assignment of two new troopers to Troop I. The new troopers were members of the 115th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on December 22, 2022. The 115th Recruit Class reported to the Academy on July 5, 2022, to begin the 25-week training to become a trooper. The new troopers will report to duty on January 9, 2023.
Trooper Macy T. Baird of Puxico, Missouri, is a 2020 graduate of Blue Ridge High School in Farmers, Illinois. Trooper Baird continued her education at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, where she studied forestry. Trooper Baird will be assigned to Zone 9, Crawford County. Trooper Baird’s field training officer is Corporal Joseph Peart.
Trooper Logan T. Sutton of Chesterfield, Missouri, is a 2014 graduate of Clopton High School in Clarksville, Missouri. Trooper Sutton is a member of the Missouri National Guard where he serves as a signal support specialist. Trooper Sutton will be assigned to Zone 3, Crawford County. Trooper Sutton’s field training officer will be Corporal Joshua McDonald.
