EMPHASIS: Dangerous suspect wanted for attemped murder





Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control are assisting the Savannah Police Department and the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department in an attempted Murder investigation. This incident occurred on September 5, 2004 at a residence in Savannah, Missouri.



The suspect is Henry Joe Taylor, a 50 year-old white male, who is five feet seven inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has been charged with several felonies including attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree and deviate sexual assault. Taylor violated an order of protection and violently assaulted the victim both physically and sexually. Henry Taylor is considered to be a very dangerous person and no direction of travel is known at this time. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Henry Joe Taylor is asked to contact the Savannah Police Department, the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department or the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 816-387-2345.



The charges for which Taylor has been charged are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
