EMPHASIS: Patrol’s General Headquarters Over The Edge Team Raises $30K For SOMO

Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, commends the Patrol’s Livin’ On The Edge team for its part in making the Special Olympics Missouri Over The Edge event a success. Over The Edge is a rappelling event that raises funds for Special Olympics Missouri athletes. The Patrol employees rappelled 13 stories down the side of the Jefferson state office building in Jefferson City, on Saturday, October 18, 2014, on their own time. The Livin’ On The Edge team, which included 20 employees assigned to General Headquarters and three friends, raised $30,000 for this important program.

“I am proud of the Livin’ On The Edge team,” said Col. Replogle. “They volunteered a lot of their time to this Special Olympics Missouri event. I feel that each of these employees exemplified the Patrol’s core values of integrity, responsibility, respect, professionalism, compassion, resourcefulness, character, and commitment.”
